The Music Programs of 

Collierville Christian Church

     Music is an integral part of the worship experience at Collierville Christian Church.  The church has a number of music groups for those of you who like to "Make a Joyful Noise Unto The Lord."  There are music ensembles for children in Kindergarten through Adults.  In addition, all children (infants through grade 5) participate in a singing session at the beginning of the Sunday school hour.  If you are interested in joining one of our ensembles, or for more information, contact Dr. Sheryl Lane, Director of Music, at sheryl@colliervillechristian.org.

Chancel Choir

Adult Choir (grade 9 - Adult)
Sing weekly in Traditional service (11am on Sunday)
Rehearsals: Wednesdays from 7 - 8:15pm, Sanctuary

The Chancel Choir sings each Sunday during the Traditional worship service, in addition to some special events.  Choir members provide leadership during hymns and sing an anthem each Sunday.  Anyone who loves to sing is invited.  The ability to read music is not a requirement!

Alleluia Choir

Children's Choir (grades K-5)
Sings monthly in Traditional service (11am on Sunday)
Rehearsals: Wednesdays from 6:30-7pm, Choir room

The Alleluia Choir usually sings once a month during the Traditional worship service.  The children often use musical instruments such as tambourines, maracas, and hand chimes to accompany their songs.  During choir rehearsals, the children play games that help them learn to read music and gain knowledge about how music is used during worship.

Southern Bells

Youth/Adult Handbell Choir (grade 6 - Adult)
Play monthly in Traditional service (11am on Sunday)
Rehearsals: Sundays from 6-7pm, Choir room

The Southern Bells play once a month in the Traditional worship service.  They also occasionally accompany the Chancel Choir or play in small ensembles for special occasions.
