Worship is the central focus of spiritual life at Collierville Christian Church – a time when all members of God’s family come together to be one in the Spirit. We offer two worship services, each of which has a different style:
Our Traditional Service takes place at 11:00 am in our sanctuary, and includes a more "classic" worship experience. We praise God through song, experience the redemptive love of Jesus Christ through the Lord's Supper, and hear God’s word proclaimed through scripture, sermon, and meditations offered by our ministers and worship leaders.
Our Celebration Service takes place at 10:00am (but will be changing to 9:00 am in August to create a Sunday School time slot between services) in our fellowship gym, and offers a more casual worship service. Music is led by our band, who play a blend of contemporary songs and old favorites with a new twist. You will find many of the elements in our Traditional Service (scripture, sermon, communion) with a different feel.
Child care is available during Sunday School and Worship. A nursery is also available for infants through age 4.
Communion is central to Disciple worship services and is offered every Sunday. The table is open to all who profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and everyone who enters our church is freely invited to participate in this act of grace.
In addition to the regular Sunday morning services, other special celebrations throughout the Christian year include: a Christmas cantata featuring all of our choirs; two services on Christmas Eve — an early family service and a traditional late evening candlelight service; and a community service in conjunction with several other churches on Good Friday.
