Karlyn Houcek

Karlyn Houcek has served faithfully as a worship leader in the Memphis area for more than 13 years, helping create meaningful spaces for congregational worship through music, leadership, and volunteer service. She began serving with Lindenwood Christian Church in Midtown Memphis, where she volunteered as a worship leader for five years and became part of a community committed to thoughtful, spirit-filled worship.

After her time at Lindenwood Christian Church in Midtown, Karlyn was invited by Rev. Parks to help strengthen the contemporary worship team at Collierville Christian Church. She accepted that calling in 2017 and has served there for the past eight years, continuing to lead worship with dedication as the church now becomes the Lindenwood Christian Church Collierville Campus.

In addition to leading worship in the Contemporary Service, Karlyn is also an instrumentalist and often plays trombone with the volunteer instrumental group in the Traditional Service. Across both worship settings, she brings a servant’s heart, musical versatility, and a deep desire to help people connect with God through worship.
